Tree Tributes: A green gift to celebrate:

Honor a friend or loved one by dedicating a tree in Davis. Share your commitment to keeping Davis green, clean, and cool for many years to come.

The Tree Tribute program funds the planting and care of a tree in a Davis park, greenbelt, or school ground. A notice of your gift will be sent to your honoree and you will both be notified of the planting event – we hope you can come and enjoy the pleasure of personally contributing to your city’s future. (Due to the nature of the planting program, trees cannot be individually identified.) Tree Tributes of this kind are available in denominations of $50 (cost of tree) and $200 (cost of tree plus 3 years maintenance).

If you would prefer an individualized dedication, Tree Tributes may be made in our Honorary Tree Groves, accompanied by a permanent engraved plaque with up to six lines of text ($1,000). A private ceremony may be arranged for the tree planting or plaque installation. Honorary Tree Groves are located on Shasta Drive and Mace Ranch Park.
