On April 27th, Tree Davis held a special tree planting event at Willet Elementary School to celebrate the much-anticipated release of the "Wubbzy Goes Green" DVD- just in time for spring! "Wubbzy Goes Green" from Anchor Bay Entertainment- a must-have, green-themed collection that helps children learn what it takes to save Wuzzleberg, and the planet, one small step at a time- "sprouts up" nationwide this month.
Thirty Tree Davis volunteers planted 10 shade trees along the asphalt edge to relieve some of the heat of a sunny day on the playground. As part of the intiitiative, Anchor Bay has donated a copy of "Wubbzy Goes Green" to the Willet library and provided free goodies, including Wow! Wow! Wubbzy stickers and green-themed coloring sheets for attending student.
To further "plant the seeds" of earth-friendly activities, Anchor Bay has partnered with the Alliance for Community Trees (ACT). For every "Wubbzy Goes Green" DVD sold, Anchor Bay will donate $1 to the ACT to support the planting of trees in playgrounds and schoolyards across the country!
Way to go, Tree Davis volunteers! Thanks Wubbzy!
